Introduction

We do it 100% hand-made. Clipping Factory isolates images from their backgrounds. You can upload images without a path; and within 12-24 hours (rush service in 12 hours, standard service in 24 hours), you can download these same images, but now with a path.

Take a look at the "How to Send Files" section for a detailed description of the work flow. It describes how to send us your images, in what format, and what to do with them once we've returned them to you.

What are clipping paths?

Photoshop clipping paths are used to separate objects from their background or basic layer. This is referred to as 'isolating'. Isolated images can be placed on a new background (color). Clipping paths are used in various graphic editing procedures.

Who uses clipping paths?

  • Advertising Agencies
  • Printers
  • Magazines
  • Graphic Designers
  • Web Designers
  • Photographers

And companies from different industries such as Jewelry industry, textile industry and etc…

How are files delivered to us and returned to you?

You can choose your own method for sending your images to and receiving them from Clipping Factory. By default this takes place using the Clipping Factory browser. You can select the images you wish to have clipped and, by clicking 'upload', the images will be copied to the Clipping Factory servers automatically. It's that easy!

We operate solely over the internet.

The files needs to be uploaded between 9-5pm US Eastern Time.

How do we do your clipping paths?

We use Photoshop to create all our clipping paths.

We only use the "pen tool" in Photoshop.

Some services that you find on the internet use the "magic wand" tool.

The "magic wand" tool can create clipping paths quickly; however the quality of the clippings created is very standard. All our clipping paths are done by hand.
